Eva Mendes was born in America. She's an American model, actor as well as a singer. Talent agents discovered her talent and convinced her to make a profession acting or modeling. She decided to withdraw of school was the outcome of many years of contemplation. Her first appearance was in the film Children of the Corn V : Fields of Terror, and she wasn't happy with how the film turned out.
